Khaliq is currently pursuing an MSc in data science at Northumbria University with a background in computer science and a growing interest in data science, analytics, machine learning and AI. He is particularly interested in using data driven approaches to solve real world problems within healthcare and the public sector.

He has experience working with tools such as SQL, Python, R and Power BI and has worked on projects including a machine learning dosage prediction model aimed at supporting healthcare decision making. During this internship with Newcastle City Council delivered in partnership with Newcastle University, Khaliq is excited to collaborate with like minded innovators, strengthen his practical and research skills and contribute meaningfully to impactful health data science projects.
